Friends

Hello,

This is Emelie and Jeni writing :) We are happy to finally write something on the wall! We have been thinking of doing it for a long time now but we havn't had time before...sorry.

We have been friends for 8 weeks now and we have been experiencing ups and downs, trouble and cheerful moments and we are still enjoying the programme. Our hostfamily has not been good and we have had a few problems with loud music, not nice food etc. But we have found two families in the neighbourhood that are very good and nice to us. We get nice food, good approach, fruits and they are really taking care of us like their own daughters. Our workplacement is now the Disabled Children's Centre at WEL and we like it even if we don't have so much to do. Our last workplacement were at St Joseph Primary School and we loved it! The students were very amazing and the teachers were very kind. We know they are missing us and we miss them too! They often come and say 'hi' on the streets and we get very happy.

We have had our Education Day about HIV/AIDS and our theme project is about the Self Help Groups and we are going to write articles in the indian newspaper. We are enjoying every day at the indo-swedish youth exchange programme and we like all the indian and the swedish participants. We are like a big family now! Therefore, we are sure that the best is still to come.

Next week, Jeni and Emelie are going to see crocodiles and we will be boating aswell (try to match that!!). We are going to celebrate easter in Chengam and now it's only 27 days left until we go to Sweden.

We hope all of you are fine!

Emelie & Jeni (the cutest couple ever in this programme!)
